How to Find a Job On-Campus

Most on-campus student jobs are listed on Handshake. Click “Job Postings” choose Position Type: On-campus, and then view available openings.

Hire a Panther

Hire a Panther provides students with on-campus experiential learning opportunities. Students work in an array of environments, collaborating with professors on projects ranging from research and tutoring to new initiatives and social media. The semester-long internships pay $10 an hour and students can work up to 10 hours a week while jump-starting their early career success.

Note: Hire a Panther jobs are not posted on Handshake. Please reach out to the Center for Career and Professional Development for information about potential openings.

Student Worker Action Team

Student Worker Action Team jobs are not posted on Handshake like regular on-campus jobs, but students must still register for the Student Worker Action Team via their Handshake student account. Applicants should sign into Handshake, making sure your account profile is complete, and check “Yes” next to the Student Worker Action Team box. Signing up is done on a first-come, first-served basis.

To apply for a Student Worker Action Team job, students must have a Social Security number. Therefore all international students should inquire at the Office of International Student Services before applying.
