William Ampofo '96 has been named senior vice president, global operations and supply chain for Boeing Subsidiary Aviall.

William Ampofo ‘96, a graduate of Adelphi’s Robert B. Willumstad School of Business, has been named senior vice president, global operations and supply chain for The Boeing Company’s subsidiary Aviall, the world’s largest provider of new aviation parts and related maintenance and support services.

The role gives Ampofo leadership responsibility for operations, supply chain, capital facilities, quality and the chemicals management business.

Eric Strafel, president and CEO of Aviall, said, “William’s extensive management experience will be leveraged to bring continued supply chain innovations and operational effectiveness” to the company’s partners and customers.

Most recently Ampofo served as vice president, supply chain commodity and cost management for United Technologies Corporation.

Adelphi’s Robert B. Willumstad School of Business recently launched an M.S. in Supply Chain Management to prepare students for growing opportunities in the field.
