African, Black and Caribbean Studies

The African, Black and Caribbean studies minor has special characteristics that will make you a valuable addition to prospective employers:

  • Knowledge of the history and cultural heritage of African-Americans
  • Potential to become a social activist
  • Ability to advise and create informed public policy
  • Strong communication, organizational, analytical, interpersonal and research skills
