Employment of computer and information technology occupations is projected to grow 12 percent from 2014 to 2024(adding about 488,500 new jobs to the existing 3.9 million), thanks to a greater emphasis on cloud computing and the collection and storage of big data.

Instructional coordinators—who oversee school curriculums and teaching standards, develop instructional material and coordinate its implementation with teachers and principals—held around 151,100 jobs in 2014, the last year for which data are available.
