Employment of life, physical and social science occupations is projected to grow 7 percent between 2014 and 2024, which will result in about 98,000 new jobs. Thanks to increasing usage of biotechnology in the medical and pharmaceutical industries, physiologists will be in high demand. They can be employed in a variety of areas, from pharmacology or pathology to nursing facilities.
