First Destination Survey – Class of 2017

Every year, the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE) conducts its First Destination Survey to track the progress of new college graduates as they enter the job market. As we do every year, Adelphi University encouraged its newest class of the year to participate in the study.

Average Salary for Full-Time Jobs: $65,860

Of the 1,113 students who received their bachelor’s degrees in the 2016–2017 academic year, 854 completed the survey by the end of December 2017, for a knowledge rate of 76.7%. Of those, 94% of respondents reported either being employed or continuing their education within six months after graduation. In addition, 30% accepted their position before graduation. Overall, the Adelphi University career outcomes rate is 12.8% higher than the national average.
